Is There An Age Requirement?
There is no adult too old or too young to participate in the programs and services offered by the Mizell Senior Center. There are participants as young as 30′s and 40′s in many programs.
What are the Mizell Senior Center’s hours?
The Mizell Senior Center is open:
8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, closed on weekends.
We are closed on selected holidays. Check our calendar or call 760-323-5689 for information.
What if I have a disability and want to participate?
It is the intention of the Mizell Senior Center to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in all respects. If, as an attendee or a participant in a program or service, you will need special assistance beyond what is normally provided, Mizell Senior Center will attempt to accommodate you in every reasonable manner. Please contact the Director of Programs at 760-323-5689 x106, at least 48 hours prior to the meeting or program to inform us of your particular needs and to determine if accommodation is feasible.
I am seeking employment. How can I apply?
Mizell Senior Center posts on its website and on publicly accessible job and employment sites for positions as they may become available. Our Employment Application is available on the website under the “About Mizell” tab.
