Advanced Tai Chi – An exercise system that combines slow graceful movement with calm, regular breathing. It strengthens the body muscles and improves coordination balance.
Mondays: 11:00am – 11:45 am (Session A1: Jan. 9th to Feb. 13th) (Session A2: Feb. 20th – Mar. 26th)
$55 members/$85 non-members

Arthritis Foundation Exercise – This program is designed to help joint flexibility and help relieve arthritis pain and stiffness.
Mondays: 9:00am – 9:45 am / Thursdays: 2:30pm – 3:15pm $3 donation
Beginning Line Dance – Exercise both your body and mind while you learn line dance patterns to a variety of music. No partners or dance experience necessary.
Tuesdays: 10:15am – 11:05am (Jan. 17th – Mar. 27th)
$5per class for members/$10 for non-members. Members may purchase 5 classes for $20.
Chair Yoga: Get Fit Where You Sit – Lakshi Voelker’s Chair Yoga helps you improve your health and fitness doing yoga while sitting on a chair. Yoga relaxes your body and mind, build up your musculoskeletal fitness and flexibility, and improves your balance.
Wednesdays: 1:00pm – 2:00pm
$5 members (Senior Special)/$10 non-members
Chair Yoga – This is specifically for people who have challenges of getting on and off the floor and cannot stand for long periods of time. It offers all the benefits of yoga. It is taught by Renate Boden, NHD, RYT.
Thursdays: 1:30 pm -2:15pm
February Sweetheart Deal – $5.oo members/$10 non-members
Fall Prevention – This course is designed to teach older adults several steps they can take to protect their independence and reduce their chance of falling.
Fridays: 9:00am – 10:00am (Jan 6th – Feb 10th)

Fit After 50 – Seniors are invited to come and exercise in this program which helps improve balance, flexibility, muscle tones, bone density, and posture.

Foundation Exercise – Learn an effective way to work out without any special equipment – just your body weight. This program helps seniors develop their own exercise program.

Intermediate Line Dance – For the intermediate level you should have had at least 10 previous lessons. There will be lots of review and new and exciting dances taught.

Introduction to Tai Chi – This is a six week introductory course that allows the novice to experience the movements of Tai Chi .

Qigong – Qigong is a form of Tai Chi. This particular form has a108 moves in its repertory. Students practice rhythmic, slow moving choreographed body movements. These movements help improve circulation as well as provide better balance and flexibility.

Seated Wellness with Lynn Simonson - Lynn Simonson is an internationally respected educator of jazz dance and a certified senior fitness instructor. In 2003 she developed her Seated Wellness course which blends yoga, breath work, strength building and most importantly brain charging exercises.
Wednesdays 8:00 am – 8:50 am
$4 paid to the instructor
Yoga – The emphasis is on learning the basics which include proper stretching, balancing, breathing and relaxation.

Zumba Gold – This is an aerobics interval class that uses Latin-based rhythms and other dance-inspired tempos to create a fun upbeat workout.
